BIO

Thanks for visiting my website!

My name is Fabrizio. I moved to London from Rome in 1994, exactly 1,950 years after my ancestors founded it!

I trained as an actor in my native Italy and here in London -among the many other things- I worked in theatres, in the travel industry, as an explainer at London Zoo, and had a stint at cabaret too!

Over the years I have become increasingly intrigued by London's colourful history and so I decided to train as a tourist guide, embarking on the Blue Badge course -the highest qualification given by the Institute of Tourist Guiding- which turned out to be one of the most challenging, yet satisfying things I've ever done.

When I travel I often use tour guides and I find that some of them have very good information, but they are not always very personable; others, on the other hand, are very friendly and entertaining, but they aren't accurate enough.

So I decided to become a tour guide, to share, in a fun way, my knowledge of the city I live and love!

My FABULONDON tours aim to be original, well researched and structured, but also take into account your personal interests and the fact that you are on holiday -or on a day out- looking to have a good time!

I have now been guiding for 5 years. I love so much about London; its exotic markets, the hidden alleyways, the churches drenched in history, the sights from the river Thames, the vintage shops, the captivating street art, the underground buskers and the eclectic architecture. I have a real passion for this city and its flair for change. London keeps evolving, whilst simultaneously treasuring its glorious past.

London never ceases to amaze and dazzle visitors and residents alike, and I like nothing better than sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge with others.

Have a look at the MY TOURS page to find some inspiration, BUT REMEMBER! if you can't find a walk that's up your street (pun intended!), just contact me and I will tailor a tour around your own interests, whatever they may be!

As a qualified tour guide, I also have exclusive license to guide inside Royal Palaces (including: Tower of London, Windsor Castle, Hampton Court), churches (including: St Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Salisbury Cathedral) and museums (including: National gallery, British Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A)and Tate Modern) and in places of interest across England, such as Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Oxford, Cambridge, Stratford-upon-Avon, Canterbury - to name but a few. Go to the page DAYS OUT if you want to find out more about these tours!

I guide in English and Italian. Get in touch today to book yourself a very special tour.

I look forward to showing you around!

CIAO... for now!
